What will be the duration of our wedding film?
This will partly depend on what package you choose, and the fact that every film is different. The Editor will make careful decisions as to what makes the final cut and what gets left to the cutting room floor. Typically a film lasts anywhere between 25 and 55 minutes. If you imagine a half hour TV show has on average of at least 20 hours of material shot, this gives you an idea of the work and careful story telling an editor has to make the finished cut. You have the option to buy the footage that doesn't make the finished master. See optional extras.
What area do you cover
Anywhere. We have access to self-directing TV cameramen all over the country. We are also happy to discuss weddings abroad using our experienced team. See optional extras.
Are you discreet?
Very much so. Fly on the wall documentary style filming is our middle name.
How long will the finished edit take?
Please allow approximately 8 weeks (sometimes sooner) for the full edit, Studio sound mix and DVD Master to be compiled.
Can I choose the music?
We encourage input from our clients. We are happy to discuss music requests and during he See optional extras.post production make our own suggestions too. We can also arrange to have your own music composed for your finished film if you desire! See optional extras.
Do we need to meet before the big day?
Yes. We can send our researcher to meet you to discuss your requirements or liaise over the phone.
Who will be filming my wedding?
This once again depends on the package you choose. All of our cameramen are highly experienced in the TV industry. They have all worked on top shows for many of the networks, BBC, ITV, Four, Five, SKY etc. They may sometimes be accompanied by an additional Researcher/Director should we think it is required.
Can you film anything before or after the big day?
Yes. We have Bespoke and Documentary style packages that are perfect for this. Perhaps we could film the Hen or Stag Party, Interview friends and family before the big day, attend the honeymoon etc. The options are endless.
What equipment do you use?
Our cameramen use Sony DVCAM and HDV TV broadcast cameras. We also use radio mics to perfectly capture and re-produce vocals. Some packages include a Camera Jib or Track and Dolly for that extra cinematic effect! Our Edit suites are equipped with Avid & Final Cut Pro Studio for professional Offline & Online Editing/Encoding.
