Here at Sunridge Weddings, we know all that and that's why we work hard at capturing the spirit of your day, as if it were our wedding - because that's how important weddings are.

Sunridge Weddings is part of Sunridge Media, a Broadcast TV Production Company. We have developed our skills and honed our talents by making award winning programmes for all of the major UK broadcasters. We know how to make a good programme but importantly, we know how to tell a good story by using pictures, sound and music to draw the viewer to the heart of the action.

This is not the day to be shooting home movies. You want a perfect wedding and a perfect record of it. This takes planning and excellence at every stage of the production. Prior to production we'll explore your every need and determine how best to tell the story of your wedding day. During pre-production, we'll spend time with you, creating a storyboard and a treatment for the big day. Our experienced self-directing broadcast production cameramen will then be briefed on how best to achieve the visual style and mood you want to portray. Whether it's filming from the sky or using track or dolly in the church, we can sort it out. But it's in post-production where the fun really starts and the film comes to life. Our broadcast award winning editors have a flair for creating films with a cool contemporary look and feel, such as you'd expect to see on primetime tv and only the very best wedding films. The magic of your day will be recreated faithfully and enhanced visually using cinematic state of the art editing techniques.

We can publish your film to any media you require - DVD or VHS. We can create podcasts, stream your film on our website so that those unable to attend on the day can view it soon after, and we can store copies of your film in our archive library.

Pre-Production

Our work begins long before your wedding takes place. During the pre-production phase, we will research the main cast and characters you will want to have populating your wedding film. Besides planning the main schedule, and recceing the key locations, our researcher will also advise you on the technology available to further enhance the look and feel of your film, for example you may want a camera jib to give your film more of a cinematic quality, and the depth and scope to match and capture the spirit of the special location(s) you have chosen.

The technology is only the beginning. Our main focus will be on you, your day, your story. Our researcher will want to explore the history of the bride and groom, their families and the reasons for the choice of wedding location. The information gathered is crucial to create a film of true integrity, emanating the essence and spirit of the families and friends you will have gathered around you.

Production

Filming can start on any day you please - at the Hen or Stag Party, the night before the wedding or during the frantic preparations prior to the cars arriving to take the bride to church. Working to your schedule, we will supply one or two fully equipped broadcast cameramen to capture the action and follow the excitement as it unfolds. If you want them to be discrete they will be. And when the wedding hots up, they'll be right there in the thick of the action following the guests and family they know will create the story you're after. Because at the end of the day, there will be a story. And it's our job to find it, film it and then tell it.

Post-Production

Our award winning editors will create a contemporary, cool and breathtaking visual record of your day. The wedding film will be peopled with characters, who we've shot up close, behind the scenes, we may have even interviewed them - they will tell their stories for you and make your day that much more special. We'll have captured the essence of the fun, the tears and the laughter, the tension and the relief and now our editors will build a moving film by bringing together the best of these moments - many of which you will have missed and many more of which you may never have remembered. Many couples forget much of their wedding day amid all of the excitement - we'll make sure you won't miss a thing.

Photography

Of course, you can't frame a film and hang it up on the wall for all to see, and so wedding photographs still have the utmost value and importance as a record of your special day. To ensure your film and photos share the same feel and importantly are of the same calibre in terms of their visual appeal and technical expertise, we also supply professional photographic services on the day. Our photographers are more artistic than formulaic - capturing spontaneous moments throughout the day. These moments lend a much-needed complimentary richness to the standard traditional wedding photographs. These Photos can be incorporated into the post-production stage to further enhance your Wedding film, creating a look that is both cool and fashionable.
